How to download Instagram Reels
Get a public Reel as a video file. Bookmarking it inside Instagram is a different step.
Copy the Reel link
- Open the Reel.
- Tap the share icon, then Copy link.
- Check that the address contains
instagram.com/reel/orinstagram.com/reels/and a short code.
On a computer, copy the address bar instead. A instagram.com/share/ preview is not enough: open the Reel and copy the Reel URL.
Save the Reel as a video file
Paste the link on the Instagram Reels downloader and press Download. The browser saves a video file when the Reel is public and Instagram returns one. Sound stays in that file when Instagram sent audio. Music is not split out as a separate track.

Limits
